Recognition evening
On May 19th, 2022, the Laval Youth Center Foundation held its annual dinner and show at the Embassy Plaza in Laval. It was a very special evening, particularly because it was a sort of reunion since the last one was held in October 2019! But also because it was an evening to say a big THANK YOU to all those who support our Foundation’s mission. So, throughout the evening, a wave of love and gratitude was warmly addressed to all our precious donors and partners.
The theme of the event was “I’m design my future”, highlighting the colossal efforts of young people to find a place of choice in the community!
Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval gave a much-appreciated performance, very much in keeping with the evening’s theme. Renée Wilkin also energized the room with a number of songs from her repertoire. Last but not least, the most moving moments of the evening came with the presentation of two videos in which young people talked about their life paths and the help they have received from the Laval Youth Center Foundation. These young women, present in the room along with other young people from the Qualification Jeunesse program, were warmly applauded!
